Research

An important activity to be fulfilled by the team of the project 575043-EPP-1-2016-1-RU-EPPJMO-CHAIR "EU Regionalism and Foreign Policy" is the development of EU studies.

The team, with EU support, is to develop the following areas of EU studies: 

• Disparity of Regions: from European Integration to Comparative regionalism, by Prof. Valery Mikhaylenko, 
• Regions of Germany: comparative analysis, by Associate Prof. Aleksandеr Burnasov 
• Analyzing the EU-Russia Conflict over the Shared Neighbourhood by Prof. Valery Mikhaylenko, Associate Prof. Ekaterina Mikhaylenko, and Associate Prof. Aleksandеr Burnasov
• EU Central Asian policy, by Associate Prof. Ksenia Muratshina
• EU participation in the New Silk Road / One Belt, One Road project, by Associate Prof. Ksenia Muratshina

Research results are to be published in monographs, teaching manuals and peer-reviewed journals.
