Ural Institute of Humanities (UrIH) of UrFU held an Open Day of Master’s Degree Program on the 22nd of April, 2022. The event was the first of a series of meetings that was called «The Master of UrIH – 2022». It was held for introducing of the applicants to the educational programs.
Open day for the future master students was held in the Demidov’s hall of the university. They got acquainted with relevant Master’s Degree Programs that are in demand and discovered how to use the skills in professional activity, which were getting during the master’s studies.
Representatives of the programs held for students not only presentations of master’s degree programs, but also specialized master classes: «Do Media», «Oratory in Diplomacy», «Create History: Storytelling in digital age», «Speech Diagnostics: Training in Rhetoric», «Analytics of Happiness, or How to Build and Test Hypotheses with Precise Measurements», «Signing an International Agreement», «Digital Turn in Modern Diplomacy», «Anti-fragility of Political Scientist and Sociologist», «Creativity and Creation as a Profession», «Sense of Life Backwards: Curriculum of "Modern Philosophy"».
Sergey Zvonarev, Director of the School of Academic and Project Development of Ural Institute of Humanities of UrFU, talked about grants, dormitories, benefits, deferment from military and other topical issues of concern to future master students. The rules of admission in 2022 were commented by Yulia Piankova, the responsible secretary of the Selection Committee of UrIH of UrFU.
«The Open Day is the first event in a series of meetings for future undergraduates, Sergey Zvonarev said. The applicants showed great interest in it: more than 100 million people were registered. Such events for everyone who is interested in master programs of UrIH of UrFU, we will hold further, including inviting employers, organizing convenient individual consultations for students. We are welcome to all who are ready to acquire in UrIH of UrFU necessary competences for future career growth».
Guests of the Master’s Open Day received pleasant surprises - notebooks, pens and bracelets with symbols of Ural Institute of Humanities.
