Vladimir Potanin Foundation announced winners of «Academic Landing» competition
Ekaterina Mikhaylenko (associate professor of the Department of Theory and History of International Relations) won the nominations «Individual Trajectory» and «Institutional Experience»
The 4th cycle of the professional mobility competition «Academic Landing» of the Vladimir Potanin Scholarship Program has been completed. The teachers of the master’s degree of the Ural Federal University won the nominations «Individual Trajectory» and «Institutional Experience».UrFU also became the leader in the number of applications submitted. The competition is aimed at providing master’s teachers with an opportunity to learn about successful experiences and modern educational models and technologies.
In the nomination «Institutional experience» the application from UrFU, aimed at conducting a program of professional development of teachers of the master’s degree «Political science and regional studies» won. The grant amount is 750 thousand rubles. It’s planned that the program will be held 20-25 teachers of UrFU.
"We have applied for a grant educational project, within the framework of which five teachers from MGIMO (Moscow State Institute of International Relations) will come to UrFU in the autumn.
They will share their experience with our international educators. We will upgrade the qualification of assistant professors in the age group 40 - this is the bulk of teachers of master’s degree. And as it seems to us, our educational project complements the program Priority-2030", which is more focused on young scientists», the author of the application, associate professor of the Department of Theory and History of International Relations Ekaterina Mikhailenko said.
