The researchers will go to Visim village
Students and teachers of Ural Institute of Humanities (UrIH) of UrFU will go to the village of Visim in July to collect Ural folklore works. All dialogues with the holders of unique information and knowledge will form the basis of the film, which will be shown at the film festival «Oika».
The project will be attended by just over 10 students, for them it is the continuation of the annual study practice in the new environment. Students will feel like not only folklorists, but also directors.
Demidov transported to Yekaterinburg immigrants from Ukraine and central Russia. As a result, there are three ethnic groups in Visim: «Kerzhaki» (is an ethno-religious group of Russians); «Tulyaki» (ex-residents of the city of Tula), etc. There was a very peculiar ethnic community in which people spoke different dialects, built different houses, got married differently, but still lived together», Associate Professor of the section of Russian and Foreign Literature of the department «Philological Faculty» of UrIH of UrFU, Head of Folklore Practice of Students-Philologists Natalia Gramatchikova said.
In September this year, Yekaterinburg will host the II Ural Film Festival «Oika». It will also feature a documentary report from the expedition of UrIH researchers. The final material will be seen by the audience of Perm, Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg and Nizhny Tagil.
