Three museums in Yekaterinburg confirmed plans to develop cooperation
Ural Federal University intends to increase the flow of foreign students to museums and exhibition sites in the region: the university has entered into agreements with the oldest, newest and main museums of the capital of the Urals - Sverdlovsk Museum of Local History, the multimedia historical park "Russia - My History" and the Museum of the History of Yekaterinburg.
UrFU Vice-Rector for International Relations Sergey Tushin adds: now there are 4,300 students from 101 countries at the university. And one of the main tasks of the university is to make sure that graduates return to their homeland as friends of Russia: they know not only the language, but also history and culture.
The Museum of Local History is ready to provide sites for 18 branches in the Sverdlovsk region and scale up cooperation with the university to other regions, and the Museum of the City History intends to work with the university in the year of the 300th anniversary of Yekaterinburg.
