International academic conference within the festive week of the Department of International Relations
On November 14–15, 2022, the International academic Conference “Paths and Countries: Civilizations of the East in Historical Dynamics” will be held at the Department of International Relations. The conference will be held as part of the anniversary events dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Department (Faculty) of International Relations of the UrIH UrFU and aimed at expanding cooperation between Russian and foreign specialists in oriental studies, international relations, political and historical sciences, working in various professional fields in the Russian Federation and Asian and African countries.
The main theme of the conference is mobility in time, space and culture in the civilizations of the East in all their historical diversity. The conference is supposed to discuss the phenomena of spatial mobility, migration and travel; interaction of peoples and cultures, including within the framework of various transitional, transitive periods in the history of Asian and African countries from the civilizations of the Ancient East to modern actors of international relations, global and regional politics.
Specialists-orientalists are invited - university professors, employees of research centers and graduate students; a separate section is planned for undergraduate and graduate students.
