International student scientific conference as part of the holiday week of the Department of International Relations
November 16-18, 2022 International Relations Department of Ural Federal University (Yekaterinburg, Russia) in hybrid format organize International student scientific conference "Youth cooperation in CIS: perspectives and opportunities for interaction in the Commonwealth".
The conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between the Russian Federation and members of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
Within the frames of the conference the work of four sections and two round-table discussions on such important problems as the CIS positioning on the international scene, including the role of Russia in the CIS, legislative basis for interaction of youth and public organizations with the CIS countries and historical relations of the CIS countries will be organized.
The working language of the conference is Russian.

Topics of roundtables:
Roundtable 1. Prospects for cooperation between the CIS countries and China (Russian and Chinese).
Roundtable 2. State of public diplomacy in the CIS countries: the value and new mechanisms in modern conditions.
According to the results of work in the sections and round tables of the conference, the best presentations will be awarded with diplomas and surprises from the UrFU and partners, and a collection of articles edited by the UrFU Center for Sustainable Development will be published.
Master classes and a cultural program are also planned for participants and guests of the conference.
Russian and foreign undergraduate, graduate, and specialist students whose research interests coincide with the proposed topics are invited to participate in the conference sections. Graduate students, theorists, and practitioners are also welcome to join.
