This year, the site broke the record for attendance
On November 3, «The Great Ethnographic Dictation» was held at Demidov Hall with the support of the Department of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Ural Federal University's School of History.
Let us remind you that the All-Russian educational action has been taking place in all regions of the Russian Federation, as well as in the countries of near and far abroad since 2016. This year, the event was timed to coincide with the National Unity Day and its main objective was to draw attention to the problems of intercultural communication and obtaining mutual respect and agreement between people of different ethnicities.
The Dictation also allowed us to evaluate the level of ethnographic literacy of students and employees of the Institute. More than 350 people were able to take part, which is a record among Sverdlovsk regions.
Dictation tasks consisted of 30 questions: 20 common questions and 10 regional questions, unique for our region. Average score of participants this year was 67, which according to experts is a good indicator, but also there were results with more than 90 and even 100 points.
The results and correct answers to the tasks will be published on the campaign site on November 11.
