Priority 2030
Within the “Priority 2030“ program Ural Institute of Humanities of Ural Federal University together with Graduate School of Economics and Management of Ural Federal University are implementing the project "Human Well-Being in the Context of Digital Transformation".
The goal of the project is to integrate the resources of the University and partners to conduct fundamental and applied research on psychological and socio-economic well-being of people in a contemporary urban environment.
The living conditions of a city dweller are characterized by demographic, economic and technological changes, which can exert a negative influence on human capital. In this context the problem of subjective well-being is coming to the fore. Subjective well-being has a positive impact on health, life productivity, professional status, self-education, etc.. In general, well-being becomes a key indicator of the success of society, replacing economic indicators.
The project is aimed at a comprehensive interdisciplinary study of the phenomenon of human well-being as one of the main indicators of stability and society development. The topic importance was acknowledged at the level of state policy in the field of fundamental and exploratory scientific research.
The project will develop and test the effectiveness of the methodology and tools to study markers of emotional, psychological and socio-economic well-being of a person in the context of digitalization. The project is planned to unite the efforts of professional psychologists, sociologists, physicians, geneticists, economists, ecologists, urbanists, demographers, philosophers, historians, teachers.
The expected results of the project will include verified and standardized methods for assessing the level of well-being and the factors that determine it, as well as recommendations for particular regions and municipalities on how to work with different population groups.
The project implementation will contribute to a higher level of human well-being, personalized state approaches, increased personal effectiveness in interaction between the state and society, strengthened human capital of Russia.
