In 2019, a group of researchers from the Ural Institute of Humanities, Ural Federal University, won a grant from the Russian Science Foundation titled “A Man in his time: problematization of temporality in the European intellectual space in the first third of the twentieth century”. Participants of the project will work on the problem in different directions for three years, several conferences and round tables will be organized, the results of the research will be published in a number of articles and monographs.
The head of the project is Maja Soboleva, Ph.D., professor at the universities of Marburg (Philipps-Universität Marburg) and Klagenfurt (Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt). She is a recognized expert in the history of Russian and Soviet philosophy, including philosophy of A. Bogdanov and M. M. Bakhtin, as well as the theory of knowledge, philosophy of language, hermeneutics (V. Dilthey, G. Misсh, J. König), philosophy of I. Kant and neo-Kantianism, including philosophy of symbolic forms of E. Cassirer.
