The journal is published quarterly and focuses on social changes shaping the values and beliefs of the people, which, in their turn, themselves become the mechanism of social change. The topic highlights include the studies of value orientations, moral choice, tolerance, ideology of gender and age, social inclusion and exclusion, existential security, and so on.

The editorial line of the Journal focuses on contemporary studies in the field of Humanities, devoid of ideological stereotypes, based on the use of multiple scientific paradigms, introducing new sources of expertise. It encourages the scholarly level of presentation, the historiographical integrity and argumentation (relevant to the Journal's remit and the issues, pre-selected by the acknowledged expert community). The Editorial Board conforms to the rules of academic neutrality, which provides for the publication of opinions, regardless of ideological views.
